Our Story
Charley G’s is proud to have been a part of Lafayette’s vibrant and unique restaurant scene since 1985. We are known for our grilled aged beef and fresh Louisiana seafood over southern hardwoods. Our rich and flavorful dark roux gumbo is made with smoked duck and andouille and seasoned with a unique blend of Cajun spices. It's been a local Lafayette favorite for over 30 years! We offer a seasonally rotating menu to serve our guests the finest local seafood and produce. Our upscale atmosphere is complemented by live piano music in our bar seven nights a week.
Charley G’s beverage directors are proud to offer an assortment of specialty liquors, liqueurs, and wines. Our extensive wine list has been crafted by certified sommeliers to provide perfect pairings for your dinner. For guests who plan to bring their own wine, we do have a $15 corkage fee.
Charley G’s hosts monthly ticketed dinners. Each month we have two Tapas nights, which pair select wines with Chef Holly’s expertly crafted menus. In the months of August to November, we host high-end cocktail, wine, and liquor dinners to offer our guests a rare taste of specialty products. Want to be notified for ticketed dinners?
